Triangle Bandage

Also known as a 'cravat', the triangle bandage is the workhorse of any first aid kit, and it packs down small enough to not think twice about throwing it in your pack. Traditionally used for securing dressings or creating compressed bandages over wounds, these triangular bandages can also work as a sling, swathe, or immobilization tool.

When laid out flat, the 36" x 36" x 51" size makes it ideal for covering larger wounds, providing support for arm or leg injuries, or securing other dressings. And when you're not using it (which is hopefully most of the time...), the triangle bandage folds down smaller than a 4"x 6" postcard and weighs just 14g (0.6 oz), so it's a no-brainer to keep in your pack day in and day out.
