When you're deep in the backcountry, running a river, or bombing down a back road, a soggy first aid kit is a useless first aid kit. The Action Trauma Kit lives in a virtually indestructible, IP67-rated waterproof hard case - so when your gear takes a dunk, a drop, or a hit, everything inside is still ready to go.

Built on the bones of our trusted Sawyer kit, this one goes harder. We swapped the fabric bag for a Condition 1 #312 hard case - injection-molded CN-1 resin, made in Texas - and loaded it with an expanded trauma kit designed to address life- and limb-threatening injuries in the field.

This first aid kit goes where fabric bags don't. Think whitewater rafting, off-road overlanding, canyoneering, and any adventure where "waterproof" is not optional.

*A note on tourniquets: Only windlass or pneumatic tourniquets have been shown to increase survival (more information from the Wilderness Medical Society here). We encourage everyone to learn more by taking a course in trauma management.
